To prepare for Control Resonant and feel the atmosphere of the game, Remedy Entertainment shared its sources of inspiration.
The project will be released in 2026, but the exact date is still unknown. Recently, players saw Dylan Faden for the first time, and now the developers have added an additional layer to the gameplay.
The team revealed that Control Resonant draws ideas from well-known works of pop culture: the series "The X-Files", "Fringe", "The Twilight Zone", "Twin Peaks", the book "House of Leaves", the "Southern Reach" cycle (especially volume 1 - "Annihilation"), "Roadside Picnic", as well as the anime "Neon Genesis Evangelion".
Even without an exact release date, fans won't be bored. Watching and reading these works will not only brighten up the wait, but also help you better immerse yourself in the game and understand its plot.
