The developers of Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV continue to gradually reveal different aspects of the project. During a conversation with PC Gamer, some useful features were touched upon.

For example, you no longer have to drag the cursor to the edge of the screen — players will be able to control the camera using the WASD keys.

Game Director of Dawn of War IV, Ian Thaisen, shared his feelings:

It drove me crazy. When I played Dawn of War: Definitive Edition, I had to move the cursor to the edge of the screen to move the camera. And you can't change it — there's simply no such option in the settings. We then decided that in our game we need to provide all the controls that a player expects from a real-time strategy, and at the same time make them customizable

In addition, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV will introduce the "multi-attack" feature — you can use a "frame" to select all enemies to attack, and the system will distribute targets for attack between units itself:

Everyone knows that you can select multiple units with a frame, but in Dawn of War 4 you can also command multiple units to attack different targets simply by dragging a frame while holding down the right mouse button. When there are several opponents on the screen, you can say: "Okay, I want the selected units to attack these ones." The system distributes targets more or less intelligently, but then you can manually adjust: for example, send some troops to attack enemies on the right flank, and others to focus on that enemy vehicle.
