"We had to adapt and continue to adapt. There is no other way."

One of the world's largest PC manufacturers, Lenovo, has warned partners about upcoming price increases and urged them to place orders as soon as possible to avoid price revisions as early as March.

Lenovo's President in North America, Ryan McCurdy, confirmed the inevitability of adjustments.

According to CRN, the management of Lenovo's North American division has set strict deadlines for placing orders. The head of the channel direction in North America, Wade McFarland, recommended that partners place orders before February 25th so that distributors have time to transfer them to the company before February 28, 2026 — the deadline after which the new pricing policy may come into force.

The increase will affect certain commercial products from the IDG (Intelligent Devices Group) portfolio, which includes PCs, tablets, and smartphones. The changes are also related to the increase in DRAM memory prices, which, according to the company, puts pressure on both the IDG and ISG (Infrastructure Solutions Group) divisions.

At the same time, Lenovo clarifies that not only the date of placing the order is important, but also the date of its shipment. Orders received before February 28, 2026, but not shipped before March 31, 2026, will be recalculated at the new prices.
