Some fans are still waiting for an announcement from Valve.

Recently, Half-Life fans have "tensed up" again. The authors of the extraction shooter announced a promotion related to the Valve franchise.

Marathon players on Steam will be able to get a keychain in the form of a red crowbar, which was used by Gordon Freeman:

This gave rise to a new theory. One of the participants in the discussion recalled that Final Fantasy XV also had a promotion on Steam — and 5 years later Half-Life: Alyx was released. Based on this logic, a conditional "Half-Life 3" may be released in 2031.
