In July 2026, Russian-speaking fans of the second edition of the Pathfinder RPG will receive "Player Core 2" - a collection with updated classes, archetypes, ancestries, heritages, items, and more. In addition, there is a chance to purchase a digital version of the adventure "In the Clutches of the Despot."
Hobby World Publishing announced that the crowdfunding campaign for "Player Core 2" for the second edition of the Pathfinder role-playing game has started on the CrowdRepublic platform. Currently, it can be pre-ordered for 3590 rubles.
Participants can also purchase a digital copy of the adventure "In the Clutches of the Despot" for 630 rubles and already released products with a 15% discount.
"Player Core 2" is 320 pages of updated classes, archetypes, ancestries, heritages, items, and much more, collected in a hardcover.
The new edition brings back well-known but reworked classes from the second edition system: alchemist, barbarian, monk, oracle, champion, investigator, rogue, and sorcerer.
The following ancestries have been changed: kobolds, catfolk, ratfolk, lizardfolk, leshy, tengu, hobgoblins, and orc. By the way, lizardfolk, leshy, hobgoblins, and orc appeared for the first time in Russian as playable races. The dhampir and duskwalker heritages, available to representatives of any ancestry, have returned, and a completely new one has appeared — dragonborn.
All archetypes for the classes presented above have returned. Players will find a large number of weapons and armor for characters, a new material — dragonhide, an expanded set of alchemical items, rules for creating small traps, new ammunition, oils, potions, talismans, staves, wands, and much more.
"In the Clutches of the Despot" is a collection of three separate adventures. "Among the Grave Goods" is a horror story about how a handful of fugitives try to survive among the surrounding horrors. In "Ashes of Ozem," players will play the roles of adherents of the Whispering Way, who are assigned a special task — to penetrate an old outpost where an important artifact is stored.
And "Of Blood and Belief" tells the story of how a group of 18th-level characters tries to stop the heretical ritual of a representative of the Whispering Way. If the campaign raises 2,000,000 rubles, then each participant will receive a free composite game board "Camps and Shelters."
Delivery of "Player Core 2" will begin in July 2026.
