Super Meat Boy 3D will get a new version. The developers have confirmed that the game will appear not only on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC, but also on Nintendo Switch 2.
The release of all versions is scheduled for 2026. The project will also appear in Xbox Game Pass.
The game transfers the famous hardcore platformer formula to full 3D. Precise jumps, hundreds of deaths and absurd humor have been preserved. The task is the same – to save a girlfriend made of bandages from the hands of a sinister embryo in a test tube. On the way, you will encounter circular saws, collapsing caves and burning forests.
Steve Maruya from Despised Icon has joined the work on the soundtrack. He created one of the tracks for two years. The authors promise high difficulty, difficult bosses, extreme Dark World levels and many secrets. A new trailer for the Switch 2 version has appeared online.
