NVIDIA regained graphics card market share and once again took 94%

Analytical firm Jon Peddie Research has published a new report on the discrete graphics card market for the fourth quarter of 2025.

According to analysts, NVIDIA accounted for 94% of the desktop discrete graphics card market, gaining 1.6% compared with the previous quarter. Against this backdrop, AMD's share fell by the same 1.6% to 5%, while Intel maintained its share at 1%, a level it first reached in the previous quarter.

At the same time, the overall graphics card market contracted. According to JPR, shipments of discrete graphics cards declined by 4.4% quarter over quarter to 11.48 million units. Despite this, on an annual basis the market still shows growth of 36%.

Analysts attribute the decline in shipments to rising memory prices and tariff pressure. According to JPR's estimate, the unstable pricing situation could lead to a contraction of the PC and graphics card market by nearly 10% as early as 2026.
