Some connoisseurs are interested not only in RPG mechanics, but also in beautiful girls.

Recently, the Gothic 1 Remake page on Steam received an update. The game's age rating became known.

The remake received a PEGI 18 rating and the labels "Violence" and "Bad Language." The original game had a PEGI 16 rating and the labels "Violence" and "Sex."

Some players began to worry that sexual content had been cut from the remake. However, the community "T-Moor and his team" explained the PEGI 18 specifics:

The "adults only" age category is applied when the level of violence reaches a stage at which brutal violence is depicted, seemingly unmotivated killing, or violence toward defenseless characters. The use of [prohibited substances], gambling, as well as explicitly shown sexual activity must also fall under this same age category. In Germany, the game received a USK 16 rating, and in the United States 17+ (the highest).
