GameMT Releases EX8 - A Portable Console with Angular Design and MediaTek Helio G99 Chip

Retro gamers and others now have the opportunity to acquire the GameMT EX8 portable console, featuring 6 GB of RAM, a 4.8-inch FHD display with 1080p resolution, and a 5000 mAh battery.

GameMT, the company that once brought us the PSK 5000 (aka EX5) — a portable device with an unusual physical switch, has released a new EX8 portable console with an angular design.

Currently, its basic version can be purchased for $139.99 (11,290 rubles), the version with an additional 64 GB of memory for $149.99 (12,096 rubles), and the one with 128 GB for $164.99 (13,306 rubles). The console is available in two colors: white and black.

The device features a classic glass front panel, LED-backlit sticks, a 4.8-inch FHD display with 1080p resolution (3:2 aspect ratio, 1620×1080, 60 Hz, brightness — 520 nits), a MediaTek Helio G99 chip, a Mali‑G57 MC2 graphics processor, 6 GB of RAM, and 128 GB of built-in memory.

In addition, the GameMT EX8 is equipped with Wi‑Fi (2.4 GHz / 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, dual stereo speakers, a 5000 mAh battery, the Android operating system, a high-speed fan and an enlarged air intake, a linear vibration motor, and a 6-axis gyroscope.

As for connectors: one USB‑C 4.0, one 3.5 mm audio jack, a slot for a TF card (Micro SD 4.0 protocol support). The device weighs about 290 grams. Among the available video materials are unboxing, review from different angles, Marvel Cosmic Invasion gameplay, console review.
