While there are plenty of roguelike games on the market, Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault has been trying to build its own identity from the start, combining fast-paced combat with economics and shop management.
The sequel is still in early access, but the developers regularly release updates.
The Greed & Glory update has been released for the game. It adds a new combat path that allows you to curse enemies and deal delayed damage that then spreads to other targets. This approach changes dungeon exploration, especially when combined with existing styles, including the popular Thunder path. The update also adds new weapons, the Blo-Blitz fast pistols. To be able to create them, you need to complete a special task.
The set of changes includes expanded skill trees, new build synergies, and a Greed Colosseum mode with waves of enemies and mini-bosses. The developers have also revised the balance of the economy and progression to make character development more noticeable before version 1.0 is released.
Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault will be fully released on PC and consoles in the second half of 2026.
