Remedy Entertainment has released the latest major Open House update for the cooperative shooter FBC: Firebreak.
The game will no longer receive updates, but the servers will remain active, and Firebreak itself will continue to be supported with technical patches if necessary. The studio noted that they had carried out engineering work in advance to ensure stable server operation even with a decrease in online activity.
One of the main innovations was the Friend’s Pass — a system that allows you to play with friends, even if they have not purchased the game.
Remedy Entertainment emphasized that FBC: Firebreak was an important experience — it is the studio's first multiplayer online game and the first project published independently.
