Fans themselves support their favorite franchise. The classic UT 2004 gets improvements.

Unreal Tournament 2004 (UT 2004) fans continue to work on the OldUnreal project. Previously, they were able to get approval from Epic Games.

They recently introduced the "3374 - Preview 17" patch for the shooter. It is mainly aimed at eliminating various technical problems and restoring the operation of modifications.

Modders have fixed various bugs and improved the stability of Unreal Tournament 2004 and the server browser. The AntiDrv lighting code has also been adjusted to better match D3D9Drv (rendering improvement).

In addition, the game will now record debugging information in case of a crash (exit), which will help modders identify problems.

The OldUnreal project is distributed free of charge and published in open access.
