Nintendo is simply in "absolute fury": Big "N" is going to fight leaks even more seriously

The topic of leaks is flaring up again at Nintendo: according to Keith Ellis, former Senior Advertising Manager of the company's American division, the management is extremely unhappy with the latest disclosures of plans for 2026 and beyond.

This week, well-known insider NateTheHate published a large-scale list of projects allegedly being prepared for Nintendo Switch 2. Among them are a remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and a new 3D platformer about Mario, which is rumored to be released in 2027.

Commenting on the situation, Ellis stated that the company is "absolutely furious" about what happened. According to him, such leaks can ruin pre-planned marketing campaigns, especially when it comes to major releases and announcements.

He also noted that Nintendo has already encountered insiders in the past, but the current situation looks different and may force the company to reconsider its approach to information security.
