The developers have also released a new trailer for the turn-based strategy game.
Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era will be available in Steam Early Access and the Microsoft Store on April 30th.
The early access version will offer players a substantial amount of content right from the start. The game will feature six unique factions, each with its own characteristics and play style, and a preliminary version of the map editor.
Users will be able to complete the tutorial mode, as well as familiarize themselves with the first act of the story campaign — subsequent chapters will be added later, closer to the full release. Pre-made scenarios with self-contained stories will also be available, and their number is planned to be expanded throughout early access.
Several modes will also be presented: Classic, One Hero, and Arena, all of which will be available in both single-player and multiplayer. The online component includes matchmaking, ranked battles, and leaderboards for each mode.
