After a prolonged hiatus, Netflix has finally clarified the fate of the continuation of "Steel Ball Run".
Netflix has decided on plans to release the continuation of «JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run». The next stage of the anime will start in the fall of 2026, and new episodes will be released one per week, rather than in a single block.
Thus, after a pause, «Steel Ball Run» will return to a more familiar release model. At the same time, the season will still be divided into several stages, so the timing of the release of all parts remains unclear.
«Steel Ball Run» is the seventh part of the «JoJo's Bizarre Adventure» franchise, based on the manga by Hirohiko Araki. The action takes place in an alternate America of the late 19th century and tells about a transcontinental race with a prize of $50 million. The plot focuses on former jockey Johnny Joestar and the mysterious Gyro Zeppeli, who team up to win the race.
The production is handled by david production studio, which worked on all modern JoJo adaptations. The team retained key members of past seasons, including director Yasuhiro Kimura, composer Yugo Kanno, and screenwriter Yasuko Kobayashi.
