HoYoverse has officially confirmed the development of an anime based on Honkai: Star Rail. During a special stream dedicated to update 4.2 and the game's third anniversary, the company showed a concept trailer called "Death After Noon", created in collaboration with the Japanese studio MAPPA.
Details about the project are still scarce. It is known that Yuzuru Tachikawa, who worked on "Attack on Titan: The Final Season", "Mob Psycho 100", and "Steins;Gate", will be the director. Kayoko Ishikawa, who previously participated in the work on "Attack on Titan: The Final Season" and "Chainsaw Man - The Movie: Reze Arc", is responsible for the character design.
As a reminder, an anime based on Genshin Impact is also in development, which is being handled by the ufotable studio, known for "Demon Slayer".
