Marvel is eyeing candidates for key roles in the new version of the mutant team.
New information continues to emerge regarding Jake Schreier's "X-Men" reboot. According to Jeff Sneider, Marvel is considering Peter Claffey ("A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms") for the role of Beast.
As with Odessa Azion, this is only preliminary interest without concrete negotiations — the project is in the early stages of development, and work is currently underway on the script.
The duo Lee Sung-jin and Joanna Calo ("Beef") are reworking a draft by Michael Lesslie ("Now You See Me 3"). Judging by their comments and the director's hints, neither the final plot nor the team composition has been determined yet.
The premiere of the new "X-Men" is expected in 2028.
