Recently, players once again remembered the new Fable. The reason was the "insider information" from Jeff Grubb.
He said that he "heard" about an internal postponement of Fable. While the game has an official release window of "2026", the situation may change:
[Internal postponement] does not mean that the game will now only be released in [2027] - it's like they are still trying to release it this year, but are worried about the launch of GTA VI.
Grubb expressed the opinion that if the release of the new Fable really shifts to the area of the GTA VI release, then the game may be postponed to a later date, such as December 2026.
In this case, the insider believes, Fable "will become the main candidate for postponement to 2027".
