Opponents of AI have questions for the developers.
Recently, Lazy Bear Games studio presented Graveyard Keeper 2. The game about a caretaker in a medieval cemetery attracted the attention of not only ordinary players, but also opponents of the use of artificial intelligence.
For example, questions arose about the key art — there is an opinion that this is "neuro-slop" (allegedly the image was generated using AI tools):
Users also drew attention to the profile of the studio's co-founder. Slava Cherk actively speaks out on the topic of AI and publishes various AI images.
Dissatisfied players concluded that he transferred his hobbies to Graveyard Keeper 2.
Slava Cherk drew attention to such discussions and issued a denial:
You may not believe me, but we do not use artificial intelligence in Graveyard Keeper 2. Yes, I experiment with every AI model available to me — that's what every techie should be doing now. I am constantly creating small experimental projects that I do not publish and that have nothing to do with Graveyard Keeper 2. I am not responsible for the art — we have about eight artists for that. I don't do sound and music. I'm just a techie who experiments with technology to see what it's capable of.
