Resident Evil Requiem showed a high completion rate, which stands out against the background of other AAA games.
According to data, about 70% of players on Steam and 67% of users on PS5 have completed the main campaign.
This is noticeably higher than industry standards. For linear projects, a figure above 50% is considered a strong result, while open-world games often do not reach 40%.
For comparison:
- The Last of Us Part II – about 58%
- Ghost of Tsushima – about 50%
- Silent Hill f – about 42.7%.
In Resident Evil Requiem, 70% of players received an achievement for completing the game on any difficulty level. Even on higher difficulty, the figure remains above 63%.
The result was influenced by the linear structure and relatively short playthrough – on average less than 20 hours. However, for a horror game such figures still look unusual.
The data is based on achievements and trophies, so it is not absolutely accurate, but it reflects the overall level of player engagement.
