Players have long been calling for the release of full-fledged new maps.
At the beginning of the year, Arc Raiders' peak online presence on Steam exceeded 400 thousand players, but gradually began to decline.
Recently, users noticed that the project had lost about 80% of its active audience — on April 16, the peak online was at the level of 90 thousand players.
Now, under the posts of the Arc Raiders developers on social networks, some players publish a "rolling" online chart and urge Embark Studios to do something about it.
There is an opinion that the decline was caused by the lack of new maps — the developers have not released them for a long time. Dissatisfied users believe that additional conditions for existing maps and new Arc robots alone are not enough to retain the audience.
However, players may soon return to Arc Raiders: an update with a new map and more is planned to be released by the end of April.
