Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII has finally found a competitor.
Recently, Western gamers drew attention to a survey of Japanese players, in which about 4,700 people took part. They were asked: "which role-playing game made you cry the most?"
In the end, the "top ten" included several games from the Final Fantasy franchise, one of the Persona installments, and more:
- 10 — Final Fantasy XV
- 9 — Suikoden II
- 8 — Final Fantasy IX
- 7 — Dragon Quest XI
- 6 — Tales of the Abyss
Some gamers were very surprised that Okami was also classified as an "RPG," and it ended up in fourth place:
- 5 — Mother 3
- 4 — Okami
- 3 — Persona 3
- 2 — Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII
- 1 — Final Fantasy X
