Star Wars: Galactic Racer Developers Revealed Release Date Early, Along with Pre-Order Bonuses and Edition Contents

User Wario64 noticed an update to the Star Wars: Galactic Racer page on Steam, where images with the release date and contents of different editions appeared. The materials were later removed, but users managed to save and distribute them online.

According to the images, Star Wars: Galactic Racer will be released on October 6, 2026, and will be available in a base and Deluxe edition. By pre-ordering any edition, players on various platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox, Steam, and Epic Games Store, will receive unique vehicle liveries and corresponding player banners.

Deluxe edition purchasers will receive three exclusive repulsorcraft, additional “golden” liveries, a deluxe player banner, a digital artbook, and a set of three unique arcade events.

Star Wars: Galactic Racer is being developed by Fuse Games, a studio comprising former Criterion employees. It is an arcade racing action game set in the Star Wars universe, taking place after the fall of the Empire. The story centers on an underground Galactic League where pilots compete in dangerous races for fame and high stakes. Players will control various types of repulsor vehicles, including speeders, bikes, and pods, and can compete in both a single-player campaign and multiplayer.

The release date is expected to be officially revealed on May 4th, Star Wars Day.
