SnowRunner Heads to Mexico - New Maps and Vehicles from Season 18 Beta Update Revealed
Some players have already explored the new region and created maps of points of interest.
Saber Interactive recently released SnowRunner beta update 42.0. Players can check out the content on a special PTS server, where it is tested before release.
The game will feature a new region, Chiapas (Mexico) – developers will add two maps, Costa Atardecer and Sierra Fuerte, with jungles.
In addition, SnowRunner will introduce new vehicle models: a pair of Mercer R230 and HIB Billert M816 trucks.
SnowRunner beta update 42.0 also includes technical fixes and improvements for older vehicles, such as:
- Increased power of all engine variants for Mercedes-Benz Zetros by 5%, changed center of gravity, increased suspension stiffness, and more
- Updated standard tires for Derry LongHorn 4520
- Fixed various bugs causing crashes
- User interface fixes in the menu, trailer store, and old maps.

The release date for Season 18 of SnowRunner has not yet been announced.
Enthusiasts have already compiled interactive 3D maps of Costa Atardecer and Sierra Fuerte with markers for gas stations, towers, and other points of interest – they are available at the following link (in the Chiapas section).
