The Sims 4 to Fix "Eternal Scandal" and More - Maxis Reveals May Update Details
Developers are preparing to address several specific issues with mechanics and the interface.
The developers of the life simulator The Sims 4 have started teasing the upcoming May update for the base game. Maxis plans to focus on infants, playable toddlers, and overall Sim autonomy.
According to the developers, they are currently finalizing testing for a fix to the "Secret Revealed" sentiment trigger issue. Maxis expects this fix to be included in the May update for the base game.
In parallel, the developers are completing work on a bug fix that prevents the "Scandal" icon from disappearing correctly – this fix is also planned for the May update.
The release date for The Sims 4 May update and the full list of planned fixes have not yet been disclosed.
In February of this year, a major expansion "Royalty & Legacy Expansion Pack" was released for The Sims 4, adding new content and the ability to create dynasties:
