Square Enix Released Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Demo on Xbox and Switch 2

The porting of the second part of the remake to Microsoft and Nintendo consoles was an important step for the Japanese publisher. Previously, the series was associated with temporary exclusivity for PlayStation, but the more powerful hardware of Switch 2 allowed the project to be launched.

The demo allows players to evaluate the performance of both platforms in a large, detailed world and in a dynamic combat system.

Players have access to a significant fragment of the beginning of the game: you can play as Cloud Strife and Sephiroth during the events in Nibelheim, and also explore one of the open-world regions.

Progress from the demo can be transferred to the full version after purchase. Also, players who complete the demo will receive unique items to start in the main game.
