Industria 2 creators apologized for the problematic release - the Half-Life-style shooter launched with a 48% rating on Steam
The quality of the release version disappointed many players. The creators of Industria 2 themselves are not thrilled with how the shooter's launch went.
At the end of April, Industria 2 was released on PC via Steam. Initially, the shooter was planned for release on the 15th, but the release date was changed at the last minute.
The delay didn't help, and Industria 2 launched on Steam with "mixed" reviews. Bleakmill studio apologized:
It's very painful to see that the game's rating is only 48%, because we poured our hearts into it for four years. Our small team overcame so many challenges and difficulties. The criticism is fair. We are sorry we let you all down. We have a lot to work on. Only forward.
Dissatisfied players note that Industria 2 is unfinished: there are many bugs, optimization issues, and some notes are not translated. At the same time, the gameplay concept is sometimes praised even in negative reviews — many complaints are related specifically to technical aspects.
The events of Industria 2 take place several years after the original game. The story centers on a girl named Nora, who must escape from a parallel universe. She builds a machine that will allow her to return to East Berlin in 1989:
After a year of work, when the project is almost complete, a chain of unforeseen events leads to her being entangled in the web of the artificial intelligence ATLAS. Soon, Nora comes to the harsh realization that there is no escaping the past, and she will have to take responsibility for her part in creating the uncontrollable AI.
