NTE Developers Squeezed the Most Out of Unreal Engine 5 - Neverness to Everness Launched on a 2013 Pentium

The new game on Unreal Engine 5 even runs on a 2013 Intel Pentium G3220. It turned out that the actual minimum PC requirements for NTE are significantly lower than those stated by the developers.

It's time to turn on "potato mode." It's hard to call what you see on the screen when running NTE at minimum settings anything else. However, this is not a mockery, but praise for the Chinese studio Hotta Studio. Unlike many, the team tried to make the game accessible even on weak hardware.

The game was launched on a PC with a dual-core Pentium G3220 (2013) and an Nvidia GeForce GT 1030 graphics card with 2 GB of memory.

Configuration:

  • CPU: Intel Pentium G3220
  • GPU: GeForce GT 1030 2GB GDDR5
  • RAM: 8 GB DDR3 1333 MHz
  • SSD: 256 GB
  • OS: Windows 10 Pro 22H2 (with optimizations)

Even on such hardware, the game often maintains around 30 FPS. This shows the work Hotta has done to optimize the complex Unreal Engine 5.
