Sony considers GTA VI "its own" game - players noticed a strange detail
A surprising detail appeared in Sony's new financial report - Grand Theft Auto VI was shown in the list of games from PlayStation's internal studios. This does not mean that Rockstar Games has joined PlayStation Studios, but is related to a marketing agreement between Sony and Take-Two Interactive.
Sony released Saros this year and is preparing for the release of Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls and Marvel's Wolverine. But it was GTA VI that became one of the main topics of the presentation for investors.
According to media reports, PlayStation will be the main marketing partner for the game. For Sony, this is a chance to significantly increase PS5 sales, as it is the biggest release in the coming years.
Players also noted that Sony is clearly confident in the release of GTA VI in 2026. The project's appearance in the financial presentation was perceived as a signal that the company does not expect another delay.
The GTAVI_Countdown account on X noted:
They really treat this game like an exclusive because they understand that it will sell a huge number of PS5 consoles.
This is another positive sign that the November 19 release date is already confirmed, as Sony and Rockstar have entered into a marketing agreement.
