The second season of Devil May Cry is set to be released on May 12, but Netflix appears to be already preparing a continuation.
MP1st, citing its own sources, reports that Netflix has renewed the animated series Devil May Cry for a third season even before the premiere of the second. According to the publication, work on the continuation has already begun, although there is no official confirmation yet.
The rumor seems plausible given Netflix's previous decisions. The first season was released on April 3, 2025, and was renewed just a week later, on April 10. Showrunner Adi Shankar himself has repeatedly stated that he plans to create several seasons, with each conveying the mood and atmosphere of different parts of Capcom's game series.
The premiere of the second season of Devil May Cry will take place on Netflix on May 12, 2026. It is highly likely that official information about the renewal will appear either on the release day or a week later.
