Crimson Desert Gets Extraction Mechanic and Mountable Bears - Update 1.06.00 Released

Crimson Desert developers have introduced the promised update 1.06.00, which adds a new mechanic and some content to the game. Players will be able to ride various animals.

Players now have access to the extraction function – not evacuation, but "Extract." It will allow them to recover materials spent on upgrading equipment. The function can be used at NPCs in blacksmiths located in cities and regions. Extraction is available starting from the 1st upgrade level up to the "basic upgrade stage" (the upgrade level at the time of item acquisition).

In addition, it is now possible to increase the trust level with some animals and register them as mounts. These include: bear, boar, wolf, deer, bighorn, yellowbill, iguana, raptor, camel, lion, tiger.

The developers clarified that fierce animals can be tamed by first defeating them and then feeding them. For animals that cannot be tamed, the trust level does not increase even when fed.

Some other changes and novelties:

• The appearance of special mounts has been improved: the basic saddle is now removed and can be used as separate equipment.
• Added melee skills for Unki.
• Added scabbards for one-handed and two-handed swords.
• A new item, the "Talisman of Valor," has been added to the game. If installed, the pet dog will start attacking enemies.
• A toy claw machine has been installed in the "Laughing Marionette" circus.
• Players can now enhance Visione and some other types of equipment, as well as use additional slots for equipping Abyss Gear.
• Elemental resistance types for some cloaks have been changed to match their characteristics.
• When following an NPC, the camera automatically rotates after a while to face the player's direction of movement.
• Fixed an issue where contribution equipment disappeared from the lost items inventory.
