Konami Reports Sales Growth for Metal Gear and Silent Hill Series After New Releases
Konami has published updated sales data for its key series as of March 2026.
According to the company, the Metal Gear franchise has reached 66.1 million copies sold, and Silent Hill — 17.1 million. The growth is attributed to the release of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater and Silent Hill f.
The remake of Naked Snake's story, who became Big Boss, has been well-received by players. The project received high ratings and offered a fresh perspective on a familiar story. Konami expects to build on the success of the series, which has sold 66.1 million copies over its lifetime.
Silent Hill f also helped the franchise grow to 17.1 million copies. Despite lower figures compared to Metal Gear, the result is considered important for the series. Silent Hill: Townfall is also expected this year on PS5 and PC.
Overall, Konami stated that it is satisfied with the quarter's results and intends to maintain momentum by continuing to develop both franchises.
