The Talos Principle 3 Announced - The Concluding Chapter of the Philosophical Puzzle Series
The game will be released in 2027 on PC and consoles.
Croteam and Devolver Digital have announced The Talos Principle 3 – the final installment in the acclaimed philosophical puzzle series.
Along with the announcement, the developers showed a short teaser trailer that does not yet reveal gameplay details. However, the published screenshots demonstrate new variations of the signature puzzles involving reflection and redirection of light beams, as well as unusual locations – including a huge forest of giant mushrooms.
The Talos Principle series takes place hundreds of years after the disappearance of humanity. Earth has been inherited by sentient robots possessing the entirety of human knowledge. Players will have to solve complex puzzles and confront philosophical questions about consciousness, free will, and the nature of reality.
As if awakening from a troubled dream, you find yourself in a strange, contradictory world of ruined temples and abandoned scientific stations – the Anomaly, the only place in the Universe where the laws of physics do not work as they should. Your memories are extremely blurred, but you are firmly convinced that you are here for a reason.
