Those Very Voices: "Demon Slayer" Creators Unveil New "Witch on the Holy Night" Anime Posters and Cast
Ufotable studio continues to fuel interest in the anime adaptation of Type-Moon's visual novel Witch on the Holy Night.
New character posters for the full-length anime "Witch on the Holy Night" have been published on its official account. The creators also confirmed the return of the original voice cast: Haruka Tomatsu will once again voice Aoko Aozaki, Kana Hanazawa will play Alice Kuonji, and Yusuke Kobayashi will return as Soujuurou Shizuki.

The anime is based on the visual novel Witch on the Holy Night, which was released in 2012 and gained cult status thanks to its cinematic presentation, music, and visual effects. In 2022, the game received an HD remaster, and then made its way to Steam, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4. It currently has 98% positive reviews on Steam.
The events of Witch on the Holy Night unfold in the late 1980s, during the final years of the Showa era. The story centers on Soujuurou, an ordinary provincial guy who moves to the city and accidentally encounters two witches living in an old mansion on a hill. After his encounter with magic, he is forced to live with the girls while they decide what to do with the uninvited witness.
The film's premiere is still scheduled for 2026, but the studio has not yet revealed the exact date.
