Moss: The Forgotten Relic Announced - Complete Series Edition Without VR. The Games Have Highest Ratings on Steam
The Moss series returns without the need for a VR headset. Polyarc studio announced the updated edition of Moss: The Forgotten Relic, which will combine both parts of the series and the Twilight Garden expansion into one adventure. The game will be released this summer on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and both Nintendo Switch consoles.
Moss and Moss: Book 2 received high ratings from players due to their fairytale atmosphere, story, and combination of platforming with puzzles. The first part has 94% positive reviews on Steam, and the second is recommended by 99% of users.
Moss: The Forgotten Relic will combine both games in the series along with Twilight Garden and offer the “definitive” version of the adventure. The developers promise new cutscenes, improved graphics, and other changes. At the same time, the studio will retain the narrative perspective familiar from the originals.
The release will take place this summer. The original Moss and Moss: Book 2 are available on Steam, PlayStation Store, Meta*, and Pico.
The last few months have been difficult for Polyarc. In late March, the studio announced "significant" staff reductions after a major project was canceled due to an unsuccessful attempt to secure funding.
