Primal Carnage: Evolution will be released in May, as announced by the publisher, who also showed a trailer of battles between humans and dinosaurs.

Primal Carnage: Evolution, a remaster of the 2015 asymmetrical multiplayer game Primal Carnage: Extinction, will be released on May 28 for PS4. This was unexpectedly announced by publisher Circle 5 Publishing, who showed a new trailer featuring battles between humans and dinosaurs. The game supports enhanced resolution on PS4 Pro and PS5.

This is an updated version of the multiplayer project Primal Carnage: Extinction, where a team of humans fights against dinosaurs controlled by other players. Evolution, announced in September 2023, will add new dinosaurs, expanded customization options, and additional content.

The original game received mixed reviews from critics — 46 points on Metacritic based on ten reviews. However, on Steam, it has a more positive reputation: 84% of 4910 reviews are positive.

However, Primal Carnage: Evolution will only be released on PS4 and will not appear on PC. At launch, the game will feature microtransactions with premium currency, Phoenix Points.
