Galaxy Not for Boyars: Sony Will No Longer Release Its Single-Player Flagship Projects on PC - Media
The company has drastically changed its attitude towards the platform.
According to Bloomberg, PlayStation management no longer plans to release its own single-player story exclusives on PC.
As the publication reports, during an internal meeting, PlayStation studio head Hermen Hulst told employees that single-player story projects will remain exclusive to PlayStation consoles in the future. At the same time, multiplayer games will continue to be released on other platforms.
Thus, PC users probably should not expect releases of projects such as Saros, Ghost of Yotei, Marvel's Wolverine, and Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. All these games, according to Bloomberg, will remain exclusive to the PlayStation ecosystem.
At the same time, some projects will still continue to be released on PC. For example, Horizon Hunters Gathering is still planned for release on computers. This also applies to third-party games and multiplayer titles like Marathon and Helldivers 2.
