Netflix Releases Trailer for Second Season of "Avatar: The Last Airbender"
The continuation, dedicated to the Earth Kingdom, will be released this summer.
Netflix has unveiled the full trailer for the second season of the series "Avatar: The Last Airbender." The live-action adaptation of the cult animated series will be released on June 25 — all seven episodes of the new season will be available on the platform on that day.
There will be one less episode than in the first season. According to rumors, the total runtime of the continuation will exceed 430 minutes, so individual episodes might be longer than usual.
The continuation adapts "Book Two: Earth" — the second season of the original animated series, dedicated to the Earth Kingdom. A significant part of the plot will unfold in Ba Sing Se, where "nothing is as it seems." Aang will go there in search of an earthbending master and will meet the blind Toph Beifong, who will become one of the key characters of the season.
Netflix has already renewed "Avatar" for a third season. Its filming concluded in November 2025.
