Former Mass Effect, Dragon Age, and Anthem Developers Announce "Neo-Noir Supernatural Detective Game"

Former developers from BioWare, Inflexion Games, and Timbre Games have announced the creation of a new independent studio — Studio Reset.

Key positions at Studio Reset are held by BioWare veterans: Kalen Lavalley is the Creative Director, Francis Lacuna is the Art Director, and Chris Schoneberg is the Design Director. All three previously participated in the development of major studio projects, including Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Mass Effect, and Anthem.

The developers emphasize that in creating the new company, they are focusing on a sustainable approach to game production and a compact team. According to Lavalley, Studio Reset wants "to create original worlds with focus, intention, and a team that stays close to their work, creative vision, and players."

The team is already working on its debut project: a "neo-noir supernatural detective game" set in a stylized Canadian metropolis.
