Supergirl to Appear in "Superman: Man of Tomorrow" - DCU Bosses Have Big Plans for Milly Alcock
DC Studios will continue to build a new cinematic universe around the Superman family.
Supergirl will appear in "Superman: Man of Tomorrow" — the next chapter of Superman's story in the new DC cinematic universe. Kara Zor-El's return, played by Milly Alcock, was confirmed by DC Studios head Peter Safran.
Speaking to Variety, Safran stated that Alcock's character will be "an important part of what we're doing" in the new DC cinematic universe. However, he did not specify whether Supergirl's role would be limited to a cameo or if she would have a full storyline.
The premiere of "Superman: Man of Tomorrow" is scheduled for July 9, 2027, but before that, Supergirl will get her own film. "Supergirl," based on Tom King's comic "Woman of Tomorrow," will be released in theaters on June 26, 2026.
