Hardware Unboxed tested LEGO Batman - official requirements turned out to be overstated
The official system requirements for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight caused controversy among players, but tests showed that the game performs significantly better than stated. Some users have already suggested that the specifications might have been compiled using AI.
Hardware Unboxed tested LEGO Batman not only on recommended graphics cards but also on GPUs meeting the minimum requirements. In all cases, the game delivered at least 60 fps without using Frame Generation.
Journalists also praised the graphics quality on medium settings. According to them, the game looks good and performs decently for an Unreal Engine 5 title.
After the tests, players questioned why the publisher released such overstated requirements, recommending Frame Generation even for 30 and 60 fps. Comments already include theories that this is another example of AI being used to prepare specifications for a PC release.
Many users had a negative reaction to the LEGO Batman requirements, which, according to players, has already damaged the game's reputation.
