YouTube content creators reminded that many old games still look good. For example, Forza Horizon 4 from 2018 still stands up to comparison with FH6. Moreover, some details in the old game look better. This refers to the deformation of snow and sand, which appear less realistic in the new installment.
At the same time, FH6 significantly benefits from drawing distance, object detail, and vegetation quality. The authors emphasize that this is not about the new Forza's weak graphics — the game is called one of the most beautiful of its generation.
The main complaint concerns the stagnation of graphics in the AAA segment. According to journalists, modern games often look like projects from 8–10 years ago, but with the addition of ray tracing or Lumen, which causes system requirements to sharply increase.
