Arle and Puyo Puyo Themed Festival Coming to Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds on May 28

SEGA announced that the Puyo Puyo Content Drop update for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will be released on May 28 at 03:00 Moscow time. Along with it, Arle, one of the main characters of the Puyo Puyo series, will appear in the game. The character will be a free addition for all game owners and the third fighter added as part of the second free update package. Previously, Red from Angry Birds and Goro Majima from the Yakuza series appeared in CrossWorlds.

In addition to Arle, the update will add the themed vehicle Twinkle Bayoen. Immediately after the patch's release, a temporary event, the Puyo Puyo Festival, will also start in the game. It will run from May 28 to May 31 and will offer special activities in the style of SEGA's arcade puzzle game.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
