Two Protagonists, Green Aesthetics, and Release Date: Insiders Reveal New Details for Persona 6

A leak regarding the current development status of Persona 6 has appeared on the Chinese social network Xiaohongshu. The information was disseminated by insider eXtas1s and Universo Nintendo editor-in-chief Felipe "Necro" Lima. According to them, the source of the leak was Asian contractors involved in outsourcing art and testing games for SEGA and Atlus.

According to the leak, the main feature of Persona 6 will be two full-fledged protagonists with unique designs and personalities. The main heroine will have black and red hair, and her partner will be a melancholic and straightforward blonde, who is intended to contrast with the usual "attractive guy" archetype.

The primary color of the sixth installment's visual style will be green. This continues the series' tradition, where Persona 3 was dominated by blue, Persona 4 by yellow, and Persona 5 by red.

According to insiders, Persona 6 is already "fully ready," and developers are moving to the final polishing stage. However, Atlus management allegedly decided to postpone the release until 2027. The official presentation of the game might take place as early as June at Summer Game Fest 2026 or Xbox Games Showcase.
