James Gunn Reveals Next DCU Project After "Superman: Man of Tomorrow"

James Gunn quite often personally responds to users in the comments, and this time he revealed which project to expect after the film "Superman: Man of Tomorrow". The next will be the second season of the animated series "Creature Commandos", which will be released shortly after the "Superman" sequel, and other projects will follow after that.

There is no exact release date for the continuation of "Creature Commandos" yet, but now it is clear that it should not be expected earlier than the second half of 2027: "Man of Tomorrow" is scheduled for release on July 9, 2027.

The closest DCU project right now is "Supergirl", which will be released on June 26, 2026. After it, the series "Lanterns" is planned for August 2026 and the horror film "Clayface" on October 23, 2026.
