007 First Light Sells Over 1.5 Million Copies Worldwide in Just One Day After Release

The spy action game 007 First Light from IO Interactive has shown a strong start – sales of the game exceeded 1.5 million copies in just the first 24 hours after its release. This was announced by the developers themselves.

The game was released on May 27 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. A version for Nintendo Switch 2 is expected to arrive later this summer.

007 First Light tells the story of a young James Bond long before he became the legendary Agent 007. Players will witness the making of the famous spy as part of the MI6 training program.

According to the plot, young naval aviator James Bond, after a heroic act, receives an offer to join the revived Double 0 program. However, an operation to capture a rogue agent ends in tragedy. Together with his reluctant mentor, Greenway, Bond must uncover a massive conspiracy and prevent a coup d'état.
