Helldivers 2 Update with DLSS 4.5 and FSR 4 Indefinitely Delayed
It was supposed to be released on May 27.
Arrowhead Game Studios has announced the postponement of a major update for Helldivers 2, which was originally scheduled for release on May 27. The developers stated that the patch is fully ready on their end, but its release is delayed due to the need to complete final checks in conjunction with platform holders — Valve, Sony, and Microsoft.
According to Arrowhead, the studio is currently in constant contact with its partners, but there are no exact dates for the update's release yet. The developers promised to share news as soon as more information becomes available.
The upcoming update was expected to be one of the most significant technical patches for the game. For PC, support for AMD FSR 4.0.3, Nvidia DLSS 4.5, and Intel XeSS 3.0 was planned — Arrowhead worked on integrating these technologies in collaboration with Nixxes. Console versions are also set to receive noticeable improvements: PSSR support on PS5 Pro, as well as FSR 3.1 for standard PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Meanwhile, owners of the PlayStation version can already take advantage of Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) display support, which helps eliminate screen tearing and stuttering associated with V-Sync.
