Fangs of Asterkarn expansion for Grim Dawn to be released in July - developers released a trailer and revealed details

Crate Entertainment announced that the Fangs of Asterkarn expansion for Grim Dawn will be released on July 23. Along with the release date, the developers revealed the final scope of the expansion, which will be the largest in the game's history.

While the studio previously spoke of a region of about 3.5 square kilometers, it is now talking about more than six square kilometers of new territories. According to the developers, Asterkarn is 190% larger than Ashes of Malmouth and 250% larger than Forgotten Gods.

Also, instead of the previously announced 54 bosses, the expansion will have more than 60. In addition, the game will receive a tenth mastery — Berserker, based on transformations and melee combat.

Other new features include the Ascendant mode, an epic item awakening system, affix transmutation, two roguelike dungeons, three factions, and five new heroic monster archetypes.

Simultaneously with the expansion's release, a free update 1.3 will be launched. It will add WASD controls, a redesigned stash, an updated interface, HDR lighting, and numerous fixes.
