The main revenue growth came from online projects.

NetEase published its financial report for the first quarter of 2026, reporting a 6.9% increase in gaming division revenue to 25.7 billion yuan (approximately $3.7 billion). The company's total revenue increased by 6.1% to 30.6 billion yuan ($4.4 billion).

According to the report, about 97.5% of the gaming segment's net revenue came from online games — the same figure as a year earlier.

NetEase noted the sales growth of its own projects, including Fantasy Westward Journey, Where Winds Meet, Identity V, Eggy Party, and Sword of Justice. The company attributes the success of the games to regular content updates and “innovations in gameplay.”

In addition, the publisher highlighted the success of the international launches of Where Winds Meet and Marvel Rivals, as well as continued support for Blizzard games in China with the release of localized content.

According to NetEase CEO and Chairman of the Board William Ding, the company's recent global releases have shown high interest from players in various markets, which contributes to the implementation of its international expansion strategy.
