Battlefield 6 to Improve Soldier Visibility and Add Cairo Bazaar Map - Update 1.3.2 Teasers Revealed
Battlefield 3 classic returns in a new format.
Battlefield 6 developers have started teasing the next major update, which will add new content to the game.
The shooter will feature the Cairo Bazaar map – a reimagining of the classic Grand Bazaar map from Battlefield 3. The developers explained that the core remains true to the original, but for Battlefield 6, the location was rebuilt from scratch, adding expanded destructibility, updating combat zones, and providing new opportunities for flanking maneuvers and close-quarters combat.
Destruction will be used in gameplay – players will be able to open new passages:
Battles unfold in the streets and markets of Cairo, Egypt, adding a more vibrant yet war-torn atmosphere, while maintaining the dense infantry gameplay that made the original map a fan favorite. Our goal with Cairo Bazaar is simple: bring back everything that was loved about it, while revealing new dynamics of combat. Throughout the map, destruction can open up additional passages and shortcuts, reducing pressure on key bottlenecks and allowing squads to launch unexpected attacks.
